UNIVERSAL JUDGEMENT

 Inspired by Michelangelo’s painting, Universal Judgement, but instead of a circular motif as in the Vatican, Johnston’s panel is in the shape of the cross. Figures are being pulled upward and downward away from the central group of disciples and believers surrounding the central figure of Christ. One in this edition resides in the Church of the Reformation in Washington, DC.
