ATTEMPTED RESCUE

Attempted Rescue

Two climbers are caught between the crushing walls of collapsing structures, one attempting to pull a fallen comrade up out of the crevasse while reaching for aid from the outside world. Watching the attack by terrorists who highjacked airliners and flew them into buildings filled with workers and children in New York City on September 11, 2001 wrenched the hearts of viewers around the world. In the aftermath, we all felt a deep respect and sympathy for the heroic courage of the rescue workers. This concept evokes an image of their attempts to save victims of the collapse of the World Trade Center Twin Towers.
